Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks had a distressing moment as he was stretchered off the field during a critical fourth-down play. The incident occurred on a 4th-and-4 situation at the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 46-yard line, with just over two minutes left in the regulation period. Titans’ rookie quarterback Will Levis launched a deep pass down the left sideline to Burks, who was closely covered by Levi Wallace.
Burks, in his second year as a wide receiver, came agonizingly close to making the catch but couldn’t secure the ball, resulting in a hard impact with the ground upon landing. Immediately, medical personnel and trainers rushed to Burks’ side, and he was eventually transported off the field on a cart, securely immobilized and fastened to a backboard for precautionary measures.

Thankfully, Burks reassured everyone of his well-being by giving a thumbs-up as he was carried off the field. The sideline reporter for Amazon Prime, Kaylee Hartung, added that Burks retained complete mobility and sensation in all his limbs while on his way to the hospital.
